The PTA planner adds up a year of fundraising, shows what Gift Aid could add on top of donations, and works out the total per pupil. With a school or council loaded, it compares that with what registered parents' associations at schools in the same council raised per pupil, from the Charity Commission register.

Gift Aid adds 25p to every £1 donated by a UK taxpayer who has signed a Gift Aid declaration. It cannot be claimed on ticket sales, raffles or anything bought. Read the guide for PTFA committees for registering, Gift Aid and reporting.
